What a bad use of the park- the disruption for schools who use the facilities, the people who use the park - it is destroying the parks natural life

The Inner City schoolchildren have no open spaces to participate in sports & this event has eroded any green space there was. I dsincerely, hope this will only bbe a one-off.

I think this is an outrageous misappropiation of use of Battersea Park. I have lived locally for 30 years and have watched Wandsworth Council put on more and more events in the Park and thus destroying and disrupting its peacefullness. It is completely WRONG that this has been allowed and I agree with previous comments, if you want to race go to Brands Hatch or Silverstone and NOT a central London park.

3 weeks if disruption and vandalism let alone trying to get to the Gondola cafe and the track- Running, Mum's and Toddlers, school use, Thrive garden all affected and for what? Great to see electric cars racing but use Castle Coombe, Silverstone, Brands Hatch, some unused airfield not a much loved peaceful park - the impact is too great for too long. Other events don't ruin the use of the whole park or for such a long period.

There are loads of more appropriate places in London to hold this race without effectively stopping park access for at least 2 weeks on the height of the summer. E racing should be about sustainability and removing access to green spaces for city dwellers doesn't fit with that.

The park should not be closed to the public for an event that could easily be held at a purpose-built racetrack. Battersea Park is a beautiful, historic park, a peaceful oasis that is there for the enjoyment of all; it is particularly well-used by the local community for picnics, football games, dog walking and as a general escape from the pace of the rest of London. This event must not be held in this park again.

It is a disgrace what has happened here. The size of the area you allowing people I during the event is a joke and it is unbelievable how the park is looking like since weeks before the event. Get this events somewhere outside London in a racecourse done and not at the beautiful Battersea Zpatk which will look like a piece shit after the event

The park is there for all to enjoy and should not be filled with concrete barriers and metal fences.

It's about time Wandsworth Council understood it is NOT an authority It has a RESPONSIBILITY to it's community not to roving commercial interests looking to make themselves profit. As a Buddhist I'm affronted by this disrespect of a place of peace which we badly need amidst the greed prevailent in Wandsworth's Riverside.
