I've walked my dogs in the park for the last 15 years. We weren't allowed at all over the weekend. It's a disgrace

This is appalling. I had to pay £16 on Saturday just to go into the park to use the boating lake. On such a beautiful day all the beauty of the park was lost due to metal gates everywhere. This needs to be stopped!

The park was meant to be open at 6.30 am weds 1st of July. The gate on POW drive /Macduff road is still shut and the drone of lorries and constant reversing beeps have been relentless from 6.30am to 22.30 pm for the last 2 weeks. To keep the park shut at this time of the year is a travesty . Wandsworth council you should be ashamed.

My flat isin Ransoms dock, as a Granny who uses our lovely space as a place of place of sanctuary when caring for my Grandson I was horrified to discover one of tge " lungs of London" closed forwhat is a commercial minority interest. The community needs its green spaces, shame one those who have locked us out during the best time of year for people to enjoy it.

Taxpayers pay their money for parks to be parks; not cordoned off for racing cars, for crying out loud.

The closing and disruption in the park was terrible and the helicopter noise for the weekend was the final straw

Outrageous closing the park in the middle of summer and absolutely no communication or compensation to local residents

It was bad enough seeing the amount of concrete in the park but when I watched it on the TV there was absolutely not point in it being in Battersea park, the sheer height of the barriers meant it could have been anywhere. Not at all what was expected/advertised. I am a Motorsport gambit this event is simply not worth the disruption and hassle

Sadly these are invisible low impact cllrs within their wards, but I am sure we will see and hear from them nearer the next council election.

Queenstown ward Councillors Mayor Nicola Nardelli , Sally-Ann Ephson, and Marie Hanson: Please stop this preposterous imposition!

Three weeks of disruption for two days racing!
