I enjoy the park immensely, and Formula E is not a good fit for this wonderful place.

I am 100% against this racing happening in the park which i enjoy frequently for its quiet relaxing atmosphere.

Battersea Park is not a racing track. Its purpose is as a green and tranquil oasis for residents and visitors to enjoy at under 5mph. There are racing tracks: Brands Hatch, Silverstone to cater for this event - partake of their service please

Although I live in South East London, I regularly visit Battersea Park with my Great Nieces and Nephews in the summer. Battersea Park is a tranquil yet vibrant space and I cannot fathom why Wandsworth Council would sign a contract which would bring such destruction to the park and the wildlife that live there.

just heard Mr Jackson's comments about outrageous comments from Councillor Rosemary Torrington concerning public parks being a luxury. Is there no end to these Conservatives arrogance and stupidity!? I know social cleansing is happening but we're not gone yet and they're not your parks to appropriate! Hands Off!

Best of luck. Will contribute. I remember the last one and it was unbearable. Revolting rubbish which must be discouraged

This is the sort of commercialised event I would expect of Hyde Park and is precisely the reason why I try to avoid going there. To have such an event now spill over onto one of my favourite free spaces in London is appalling. Who is this really benefitting? I can't believe it would be the locals, that's for sure.

It was totally dreadful in 2015, and the disabled and pushchair access into and from the centre was no existent

summer is coming - so nice to be in the park - but horrible to thing about the approach lorries belching fumes and trampling flowers to set up the iron choker around the park.
