Myself and my daughter and son in law Margo Jensen and Phillip Spencer, both investment bankers on Akexandra Avenue are totally against every aspect discussed on the Formula E project for Battersea Park. Have some respect!

Terrible place to hold a race. Greedy council.

I live directly across from Battersea Park, and my family and I enjoy the park practically every day. We found the preparations leading up to the FE race and the race itself very disruptive (our sons had to have their weekly football lessons relocated, which was particularly upsetting for my son with special needs), and I was sad to hear about the negative environmental impact of the race on the park. I would encourage the Council to reconsider the contract and replace the green areas that were lost as a result of the construction of the race track. There are plenty of alternative venues for a race to be held (purpose-built facilities, a street circuit). There is only one Battersea Park, and it is irreplaceable.

Totally inappropriate venue for this event.

In an overcrowded noisy city, green spaces are what keep us sane. Such noisy events are not welcome in this precious park and neither is the eyesore over an extended period.

An Outrage!!! I bet someone benefitted by a few £££ though, as these things are always ultimately about money and greed. As a regular park user I HATE all the new tarred areas - RE-INSTATE the grassy areas immediately!!!

I have lived by the Park and enjoyed it for the past 40 years. I object to it being used for Formula racing and the confidential nature of the agreement. I was not informed that the overview & scrutiny committee will not be discussing the report at its meeting on 22 September. I have never received the Council's questionaire

This event created a huge amount of disruption. It was also extremely boring! There was minimal consultation.

Formula e is a good step forward in environmentally sensitive racing but Battersea Park, a tranquil place for local families to enjoy space rarely associated with thei lives, is not the place for it.

e park was given to the people of battersea as a free park not for making money from events

Please stop using the park in such a totally unsympathetic way. If you want to provide a venue for this kind of sport please build one somewhere else which does not conflict with peace, green spaces and a place which is home to many small wild animals.

Wandsworth council should have consulted the local community before agreeing to this. The park was effectively closed for 3 weeks prior to this event. We want to enjoy our park, especially in the summer.

Try writing individual letters to the councillors concerned. Link below has a section where you can selected your councillor, and then post your letter on the email facility which comes up. http://savebatterseapark.com/action/

how do we get councillor cook and the others out of their seats? If we vote for Labour, would that do it? I'm a staunch conservative, but would do anything to get these corrupt politicians out of their jobs
