I have just read the reinstatement plans and they are shocking - can the save battersea park team please mail the mailing list they have of members to get them to comment on the council website before the review period ends!

The disadvantage and inaccessibility of large parts of the park for 2.5 weeks now to only host a weekend event is disproportionate. I have to run on the pavement outside of the park breathing in car fumes so the e cars can breath in the nice park atmosphere. Also, the cars may be clean but that cannot be said about the many heavy duty trucks driving in and out constantly to bring concrete blocks and other equipment. There are enough purpose built car racing facilities that can be used so that families and thei activities many of which are in the park do not have to be cancelled (our tennis and kids' football were all cancelled due to the event benefitting few>

It is awful that a car race occupies the park for weeks during the most valuable time of the year for residents to use the park for strolling, exercising, dog walks and more.

AS A CYCLIST WHO USES BATTERSEA PARK 5 DAYS A WEEK I HAVE BEEN SHOCKED AND APPALLED BY THE LACK OF PROVISION MADE FOR CYCLISTS DURING THE FORMULA E DISRUPTION FOR 3 WHOLE WEEKS EVERY SUMMER.

The schools cannot use the fields as they have been damaged by the stadium seating put in place last summer for formula e.

Following the closure of the 1.00 club at the Sungate entrance this is a further reduction in the facilities for all children, especially those from underprivieged families who rely on the open spaces and play facilities in Battersea Park, which are quite amazing and will be lost forever if we allow commercial companies to ruin the environment and peace of Battersea Park which is a treasure to all who live in this area.

I regularly visit Battersea Park and enjoy its beauty and tranquility. I did attend the Formula E racing in 2015 as like a lot of people I was curious to see what it was like. I did not find it a very enjoyable experience as standing on viewing

I don't live in Battersea any more but the park was a life-saver when I did, and it ought not to be trashed in this way for people who live there now.

is it possible we could remove battersea park from the wandsworth jurisdiction and have it made part of chelsea? it's always going to ravaged by those crooked councillors that are part of wandsworth council
