Save Bardsley Green Belt

Absolute disgrace whats being planned, upsetting residents, wildlife, traffic chaos, pollution the list is endless They could quite easily build on other plots of land that won't affect any of the above.

I walk my dog's on this land we have seen wildlife from deer to red grouse and it would be a travesty to loss such a habit in a already too built up area

Over populating an area and taking away green belt land is disgraceful. Why do councils think it is ok to ruin beautiful areas and ruin residents life. This cannot and should not happen.

I strongly disagree with the proposal to build on green belt land around Bardsley, this is a natural habitat for wildlife and a place of beauty open to all Oldham residents to enjoy for free. The road infrastructure is inadequate to accommodate over 260 new premises and as there is no new employment in the area for the 260 residential premises, traffic pollution will increase as everyone commutes into the city for work. The GP's in the area are at breaking point with waiting list of around 3-4 weeks for an appointment and local schools already have waiting list for access. With over 14,000 acre as of brown field to build on there is no reason to take away more green belt land for Oldham residents.

I strongly disagree with the proposed developments in Bardsley. As well as the wilful destruction of irreplaceable green belt land there has already been many housing developments in Bardsley and the surrounding communities in the last few years. With pressure already at breaking point on public services, most notably schools, this area simply cannot absorb any more people. The roads on Simkin way can barely service the current volume of traffic, I fear a serious accident if this poorly thought out development went ahead

There are plenty of brownfield sites available, why steal our green belt land.

I strongly disagree with the proposed building of housing on the green belt land around Bardsley when there is ample brown belt land available for this very purpose.

We do Not want or need any more houses in Bardsley! We have wonderful wildlife that people come to visit from miles away! We have childrens nurseries in Bardsley, the extra noise, traffic, construction work, pollution would not be healthy for the children let alone the local residents!

There is not enough school places for potential young children that would be within the catchment area and this would impact their ability to learn

Use brown field land rather than our green field spaces. There is plenty of suitable brown field land that could be developed and made better.

There is plenty of brown belt land to use. Why destroy the only decent green belt land in the area that is used by the majority of Bardsley residents.

The increase in houses will saturate the already stretched, schools and nhs services. There is also plenty of brownbelt land around to use. Why is it that the council can get away with TPO's but others have to jump through hoops. This will ruin our childrens future with less facilities available to them.

Save the green belt land! There are many other areas to build on, rather than destroying our green belt land.

Leave bardsley natural

Tragic loss to green belt, No schools or doctors within the area. Extra traffic will make it a dangerous area.
