It's a disgrace. Why destroy beautiful landscapes and nature reserves when there are perfectly good brownfield sites around Oldham that can be turned into something good and improves the aesthetics of Oldham with a potential to put Oldham back on the map as a good place to live.

Busy enough in this area with cars etc. Only one road to Oldham or Ashton and its manic all day long. No where for the children to safely play, we need green open spaces for the community and wildlife and general well being of the current residents, it will bring increased pollution to the area, leave well alone, use other brown sites in Oldham, there are enough of them. Leave our green belt alone.

We need to protect our green belt land for the future of our children and wildlife. There are many brown areas within Oldham that can be utilised to meet the demands for extra housing which in turn will improve Oldham.

The main problems are we don't want to take our children to a museum to show them wildlife or even trees I know that there is a need for housing the decrease of green belt for deer that roams free

STOP!!! Before you planners even BEGIN to consider increasing the Bardsley area population by 55%, you need to reflect on the sorry mess your previously granted "housing developements" have already made to child safety and area pollution. What a shambles!!!!
Increasing housing and population whithout due consideration to all the increased traffic that brings and no sufficient roadway outlets to Ashton Rd.
Come along in the morning or evening when all the roads in and out of this area are jammed and children are travelling to and from schools .We are all very very fortunate that serious accidents have not yet been a major problem in Bardsley, but if these crazy "developments" go ahead the probable deaths will be on your heads. Not to mention the continued decimation of our desperate and valued wildlife. GET IT RIGHT THIS TIME...PLEASE!!!!

This cannot and must not go ahead. This unrealistic decision is simply unfair to our children and our wildlife. Bardsley, if anyone cares to remember, is a village NOT a town or city and will become over congested with traffic and dangers on our roads. It is a travesty that it is even being considered. LEAVE OUR GREENBELT ALONE !!!!!!!!

This will cause us to have no green land what so ever ... the roads will be twice as dangerous, the traffic on coal pit lane is already bad at key times
The development will just be an extension of lime side causing more trouble to the streets

Ashton road is busy enough and people to do not always adhere to the speed limit it's a major road for the ambulance service more traffic means more people waiting for a much needed emergency service

I can't honestly see local residents opinions making any sort of difference. Especially when there's a need for housing and lots of money to be made from new builds. It certainly made no difference, when despite all the objections, First Choice homes decided to build around Keb Lane. Why build on existing brownfield sites when Greenbelt sites have so much more money making potential. Why force property owners who have long standing empty houses to refurbish and let out at an affordable rate or even sell? Considering that this latest land grab will affect me and my family directly. I'm not best pleased. But... When money talks, I'm afraid to say that I don't hold out much hope in this being declined. Fingers crossed though.

We do not agree with the proposal to build on green belt around Bardsley, leave us alone we have enough houses already, just think of all the extra traffic plus the pollution, also at our doctors you have to wait about three weeks to get in so where are all the extra people going to go and which schools are the children going to go to, there are already waiting lists. This proposal has not been thought through at all, you have just seen green belt land and thought that will do, with no consideration for any body or anything.
