Bar Sepia is the bar that me and my now girlfriend went to as part of our first date. I fell in love with it instantly. The size, location, atmosphere, friendly staff and bar goers. As a couple, me and Stephanie have been there only a handful of times. However, we always refer to it as "our bar" a title that doesn't come easy in such a fast pace world. I'd love to see the bar saved for the local community and for my memories of spending great time there with someone very special.

Bar Sepia is the fork in the road where all are able to make a decision on how to proceed further in the path of the moment, day, week and so on. This establishment will always be known as an icon and representative of what it means to be in a good place.

To our Customers, Supporters and Dear Friends: After February, Bar Sepia will no longer have a lease. We are pressing forward and doing everything possible to stay open, up to and including making an offer to purchase the building. If you would like to help, please share our petition with your friends and go to our website to find out more. Both Elia and I want to thank you for your kind comments and generous support and with your help, we hope to be able to #SaveBarSepia and continue to thrive in the neighborhood we love.

This is a true neighborhood bar, not a gentrifying hipster interloper. It's the kind of small business that is disappearing as developers loom. It should be saved!!!

Delissa's Bar Sepia is a welcoming place for all members of this community, new and old. She opened her doors for community meetings, served the community during times of strife and struggle. She is a friendly face and a hello on the streets. It's a shame she would have to go and will be a loss for our neighborhood.

Bar sepia is one of the only original places left on this street! A true community space, welcoming to all. It would be a terrible loss to the neighborhood.

We hope that Bar Sepia will be able to stay especially given that they have made an offer to buy the building.
