I can't say I've been to your establishment, but I can say I will not patronize any business that tries to take your place, even if it were a comic book store.
It's a shame that some landlords only look at our neighborhood as if it were a money making device and not a place where people live. It's also a shame that some landlords do not acknowledge and give priority to the businesses that took a chance on a location that wasn't shi-shi and hipstered up.

We held our engagement party here. Delissa and Elia came to feel like family during the years we lived down the street from Bar Sepia. This place is special! It should be saved!

Thriving local businesses make up the backbone of our communities and neighborhoods. If a businesses is successfully supported by the community, they should be given an option to continue. Too many of these local establishments are lost to speculators and greedy landlords. Small businesses need protection from predatory practices that have no community involvement or support.

A real home in Brooklyn. No words. Businesses like Sepia should not just survive but should thrive through these neighborhood changes, instead they pay the ultimate price as "investors" reap the benefits of long-time small businesses' investment in nurturing true community. Very sorry to see this happening - let's keep fighting.

I've been in this neighborhood for eight years and would hate to see this area just get turned into more expensive housing. Save our neighborhood.
