We are extremely concerned that we are without a doctor who is familiar with are health problems. We are in our late 70's and worry that we will have to travel greater distances to find help.

We need a doctor in Bansha, how are 500 medical card holders to get any attention in the surrounding towns, where doctors give you five minutes in the surgery.

I'm a rural gp in Frenchpark Co.Roscommon +I feel v passionate about saving Rural GP. The number of GP vacancies in Rural areas is increasing- it's great to see Yer community shouting to the Government to save yers- we are also trying to raise awareness- well done on a great campaign- it's v encouraging for GPs to see that kind of response

Small communities being ripped apart by the bean counters. Some things are too important. With an aging population we need these local services.

Now the health centres !! Really...
Politician's overpaid..but they all be celebrating the 1916 rising next year...look after out old folk they fought for this country...how the hell are they supposed to get into tipperary...shame on ye...

please sign the petition, and make an effort to attend the public meeting because if a stand is not made now, this will happen in your area over the next few years or sooner

The local population is growing and there is a greater aging population. A local doctor is needed more than ever.
