Save Bancroft Park!

Save Bancroft! It was our childhood park since 2001 !!!! So many memories will be lost!

To whom it may concerned, I can't begin to tell you how important this park has been to me as a child growing up. I raised my children visiting this park,now my grandchildren visit the park with me. I remember being able to ice skate all day into the night,sliding at the angel. Picnics with the family. Nice quiet walks on the trails. Sometime i would take walk to clear my head. There are times i just drive though,many times after work on a saturday i buy a lunch and sit at the park and eat it. I have three generations that enjoy that park i feel it would be ashame to change any part of this park. I feel that the golf course has taken enough from the residence of lansing, i also grew up enjoying ormond park too. The golf course hacked parts of that up too. I am agains any changes to the park. They cant destroy bancroft thats my childhood play ground.!! I had my first kiss their and met my first love their!!! A lot of people need bancroft the space they have and the woods!!

I just wanna say this is my childhood park I wouldn't want it to get changed!!

I grew up down the road from bancroft. My friend's and I would spend hours on the playground, walking the trails and playing games in the open fields and sledding on angel hill. I would take morning runs around the park. Its a nice park and part of my childhood.

For the past 17 years ive enjoyed this park and its trails please save it

Please preserve this park... It holds many good times and memories for north side residents.

I grew up going to bancroft park sledding in the winter, bbqs in the summer. Unfortunately I dont live close to the park any more. But when I'm in town and have free time I take my children to the park

I and my six siblings spent many hours at Bancroft Park when we were growing up-sledding, ice skating, and just playing. It is one of the coolest parks left in Lansing--please leave it alone.

Save Lansing parks

I may not leave near the park now, but i have been there a few years ago when i was pregnant with my 3 year old. Its a beautiful park, peaceful, fun, i hope to take my daughter there when the weather warms up enough that riding a bus from soith side wont matter much.

Please preserve our park. My son, friends and family have many fond memories there. Please do not destroy our park. There is wild life that depend on the park for their homes as well. There are owls, deer, ducks, geese so much nature there please do not destroy nature at it's finest.

Please leave our park alone. It is not perfect, but nor should it ever be perfect. We sled there!

Don't pave the park!!

There are few natural areas left and it should not be changed. I moved here from the Upper Peninsula 15 years ago and enjoy the little parks near the city.
