Please retain this park for the use of the local community.

It looks like Fingal County Council have lost the plot here but the local community wont. Hands off Council and developers, its ours

Parks enhance lives

As a local resident, I am dismayed at how much housing has recently been added to the peninsula - we don't have the infrastructure to facilitate this. But to take away green space to do it is worse still. We have very few community services and amenities left in Howth.

All green areas should be kept for the enjoyment of the people.

How short-sighted .... euros earned from the sale/lease will never equate to the long-term benefits of the park to Howth and the community.

This is a really important local amenity for young people, Disgraceful it is planned to remove it at a time communities are striving to improve and develop facilities in line with health and wellbeing policies.

That park has been there as long as I can remember. God knows there's enough houses being thrown up all over the place. Leave our park alone.

Baltray Park is a valued community amenity already - building an unnecessary and unwanted community centre on it would devalue its amenity value.

Our kids learned how to play tennis here so Save it for future generations

It'll make traffic unbearable

Fingal county councillors and town planners need to protect Fingal amenities and think very carefully about the beautiful harbour town of Howth and the effect your plans will have on it. It beggars belief what you're thinking of doing.

Learned to play tennis here over 30years ago and still use the park with my daughter. Hope it does not get the go ahead to be developed.

Save an amenity that has been there since my mum was a child and use it to its full advantage to ensure our children enjoy. This is the only park in howth where you can enjoy a game of tennis, have a picnic, roller skate, sit and listen to the birds the trains and the planeso or Read a book - It would be far more beneficial if the park was maintained, and people encouraged to take pride in it, rather than destroy it and replace it with more concrete resulting in endless unnecessary traffic congestion- think Green - think Global and Save the park

Our kids played tennis there, as have thousands of others. It must be retained as a valuable public amenity.

This public amenity cannot be distoryed.

They cannot build on this park. It's a public amenity.
