That's fine - then the people who park there all day will need to pay to park - its the "no free parking time" so people can jump out go to the Chinese, chippy, funeral parlour, electrical shop etc I am more fighting for. Yes the split on the main street is dangerous parking in my eyes x

I checked this and the cars on the main street were not shoppers the cars were the same from 9am to 4pm I think they must be people who own the shops or work in the shops and also people catching the buses into town from morrisons to south Scott street is rediculous at 5 pm if bus and Hgv try to pass one another

The thing that annoys me about Main Street is that people who work in that location park cars and it's often impossible to get a space to shop

The parking restrictions are long overdue, the way people park at the split is an absolute joke and I would encourage the council to remove cars if necessary. I would actually go further with the restrictions and pedestrianise the main street in its entirety.
These new parking restrictions will allow more betting shops and payday loan companies to open giving the good people of baillieston better payday loan rates and allow us to spend more time in the betting shops which means more chances to win.
