Backdoor Donuts is not just a business, but it’s an institution. My family and I have been supporting for years, mainly because it’s such a beautiful experience. We wait in line patiently with everyone else, we meet strangers, we hope our favorites aren’t sold out. It’s a tradition! They should not be punished for being loved. And if a person moves to the center of town, they signed up to be in the area where the people gather. It’s absolutely disrespectful to expect traditions, businesses, success to hold back to cater to new neighbors. Additionally, the rest of the island deserves the experience they love!

We need our apple fritters from BBD. They make the best though they could lower the price and raise the amount of apple chunks per fritter IMHO

Back Door Donuts' success as a local business serving a vacation destination should not be altered in any way, due to the apparent expectation of non-growth. The business continues to serve many customers of all backgrounds & has become part of the fabric of Oak Bluffs' nightlife and overall charm. If you're to let one person potentially alter this charm, you are allowing one person to dictate the long-term effects of your local economy, and not for the better.

Back Door Donuts has been part of the community for years and years and years with no complaints. Tell the neighbor to move if they don't like noise in the center of town. Shouldn't have bought house so close to circuit Ave. Idiot's.
