I’ve been enjoying Back Door Donuts since at least 1998 as a visitor and a property owner. Can’t understand anyone having an issue with a business like this that provides such great memories to multiple generations.

I don’t understand why some is trying to shut a long-standing business. Sure, sometimes there are lines out the front door but nobody is rude or disrespectful. Just like the lines and people across the way at Linda Jean’s waiting for weekend breakfast.

I live on this island and have been coming to back door donuts since I can remember. I’ve made some of my best friends in that line & have so many family memories there

We stayed in a air bnb during a weekend in the early summer that was directly across the street from the back door donuts lot. Our bedroom windows faced the parking lot and we did not hear any noise whatsoever, and when we went to get donuts everyone was quiet and respectful in line (at around 10pm). Most in line were actually families letting kids stay up late for a special treat. I can't imagine who would think this wonderful place is a problem.

Shutting down Back Door in anyway would be the end of a famous New England and Island tradition. Back Door has been an MV tradition for my family and we would be devastated to see that go in anyway

Back door donuts is Always our last stop and it's never been loud or disruptive to the area. It's one of our cherished traditions with lots of fond memories
