BDD is a novelty, a tradition that so many travelers make it a point to visit. Closing BDD would be a huge negative hit to OB

Back door is a land mark on this island. The thought that some off-island visitor thinks that they can buy the house next door, knowing what they’re getting into, then try to destroy families traditions going back decades is exactly why it’s so hard to accept these transients coming to our home… that we’re TRYING to share! It’s getting harder and harder every year…

Maybe let them stay open as long as the noise is controlled.

As a Regional Planner by trade & a lover of the island & its longstanding traditions, I can't imagine how this woman's complaints could have any bearing against the majority. Tradition pre-dates her. Like Right to Farm legislation- Backdoor Donuts should absolutely prevail.

We have gone there for at least 10 years and have never seen any trouble, whatsoever. The crowd can be big, but never a problem

We as a community need to support our local businesses. There is always one person who has nothing better to do but complain. She should join the 12am back door crowd, she might enjoy a delicious donut.

Back door is a MV institution. When you plan a visit to the island people literally tell you you have to go there - it’s like the carousel or the lighthouse. Closing it would be a huge revenue loss for the island .

Supporting this bakery and their hours. Sounds like the neighbor is a light sleeper as they choose to like in the business area.
