It would be a travesty for this building to be demolished. After the way the town centre was desecrated in the late 1960's you would think that planners would have learnt their lessons by now.

How on earth can this be justifiable? Far too little of the substance of Aylesbury remains already! Who are the people responsible for this decision?

If more parking is required, turn a level car park into a multi-storey, and while your at it BCC sort out the ruddy pot holes.

One of the last historical buildings of old Aylesbury - it has to stay. Have the planning committee lost the plot? Local history is an important part of our heritage. This building should be preserved for the benefit of future generations.

It is about time BCC and AVDC start listening to what the Electrot want rather than telling them what they will have.

This building must be saved, furthermore when you already have an underused car park in Walton street, you certainly do not require more.

Aylesbur town centre has been ruined over the years by successive Aylesbury Vale planners. Demolishing yet another of the more attractive buildings would be a disgrace

This old building should stay it is part of the towns heritage. It is a sound building made to last and therefore should be used for something like a restaurant or public house. Better still a place that can be accessed by the whole community in times of need,.... a hostel, food bank, community centre e.t.c.
