Why can this existing building not be converted into apartments. There is precious little left of Old Aylesbury. This demolition should not be allowed

Too much of Aylesbury is being changed far too quickly. It is nice to see some history dotted around the town, because there is not much of it left

Surely its simple enough to find another use for the building and if it is a conservation area, how are AVDC able to circumvent the rules, begs the question who is gaining from this ?? The town's heritage needs to be preserved.
