Too many characterful old buildings are being lost in the name of 'progress' and being replaced by plain, ugly and uninteresting constructions.

I come from a town where all old buildings have been destroyed, the town has lost its soul! Please don't destroy Aylesbury. Old buildings should be restored and put to new use. Tear down the ugly council tower instead at least that can only improve once the temporary parking is no longer needed...

The planners in Aylesbury simply don't have a clue, whatever they touch, whether its buildings or roads, just makes Aylesbury a worse place.

It is very important to keep this building which visually links to the Old County Offices which I believe are included in the new plans with change of use. Also somewhat mitigates the ugly and un-interesting 'sheds' to the right.

Aylesbury was decimated of its historical buildings in the sixties but it looks like there is a new generation of philistines who think destorying the past for car parks is acceptable.
