Soy de la primera clase graduada de la Academia San Jose en el 1960 y me apena muchisimo que nuestra Alma Mater tenga que desaparecer. Es imperioso que nos unamos todas para evitarlo. La union es la fuerza. Cuenten conmigo.

La contribucion de la A.S.J.a nuestra sociedad y a la mujer puertorriquena ha sido invaluable y lo sigue siendo; dandole la oportunidad a ninos de diferentes esferas sociales, a que se unan para convertirse en una unidad productiva y progresiva. Debemos de hacer todo lo que este en nuestras manos para que se mantenga en pie.

I am in complete agreement with my colleague Dra Maria Gorelik.MD And while nothing last forever, I question the integrity, efficiency and ability to run our school of the person in charge. Their capability is surely in question. Where did all that hard earned money from each student's parent, paid towards their child's tuition disappear to? How where they misappropriated? We have a lot of questions and very,very few answers of which someone should and needs to be held accountable for. An investigative task force needs to be put into position that would to get to the bottom of this situation. For over 60 years, ASJ, has been the very essence of the communities in the Villa Caparra, and her surrounding areas, the nuns and teachers instilled in all of us, the values, and beliefs we carry within ourselves.This was the school that help shaped us, into the women we are today. These are part of our roots, how can this beam if light be turned off?
