I am someone that went to Arts high In Newark it was the only high school I ever wanted to go to cause of there dance program I always loved to dance even to this day and arts high is a good school for all majors and academics

Please save our school. Attending Arts High has saved my life in so many ways. Charter schools DO NOT ACCOMMODATE DIVERSE LEARNING STYLES, while Arts High makes EVERYONE feel accepted and appreciated. If anything, the school should consider building a middle school to jump start those planning to attend the high school. Newark residents are very proud of our MANY successful artist, actors, musicians, designers, and dancers that graduated from Arts. Don't short change our youth and condemn them to charter schools. I'm afraid to think where I would be today if Charter was my only option. I beg that you reconsider

Words can't express how important, how influential Arts High School has been to Newark and its students. Arts High School has produced some of the most talented individuals this city has to offer. From jazz greats like Sarah Vaughn to our more recent stars like tap sensation Savion Glover. And let's not forget the countless number of those, like myself, that may not be in the spot but are successful in our on right and are still productive citizens of Newark. SAVE MY ALMA MATER

Stop closing our schools. Arts High School is needed for our artistically inclined students. Why are you closing and combing schools on top of one another, laying off teachers, and still taking pay raises in the midst of all of your nonsense? Sick of the political bullshit your pulling!
