Arts High is a great School with a fantastic arts program. The school is indeed legendary and should remain open for future students.

I've met alot of my current friends there and learned how to produce in that music lab. Whatever i need to do to keep those doors open please let me know. I want other kids to experience the greatest teachers, other brilliant minds and high artistry under 1 roof. Keep this legendary school alive.

I do not agree or stand for the reason that they are closing so many schools. Now, The school of Arts that has help,lead and put so many many people in an positive and great future, I DISAGREE & PETITION THAT ARTS HIGH OF NEWARK REMAIN OPEN.

This is the best foundation of Art in Newark, NJ. This school has lift a lot of students towards positive futures. For facts, Arts High School jazz band was the first student band to play at the United Nations on the first held international jazz day. Recently on April 30th, 2011.
There is a lot more to say about this talented & academic school that has raised futures for students like myself.
Art High School had a huge inpact on my life.

Eliminating the first model of an arts high school is unconscionable. These students are regularly accepted into colleges and performing arts schools around the country. There is no reason to close a successful school in Newark other than for Ms. Anderson to make a name for herself. Unfortunately, it's one I cannot print.
