Why kill a good thing. Leave the diamond alone. Find another location for the next devastation you guys are trying

Leave the ball diamond where it is and find another place for the soccer, after you replace the tennis courts !!!!

This is a travesty. Build the soccer pitch elsewhere and leave the balldiamond as it is! A lot of work went into making it right for hardball, and our kids deserve it.

Here we go again erasing history. Why destroy a beautiful ball park that has been enjoyed by all. This is a community decision and not town council.

This town has made so many bad decisions over the years and this one is ridiculous after all the hard work Arlene has done. Kids have been playing baseball there for years leave it alone.

All the people who have signed this petition are the heart of Gananoque and have shown they will not be steamrolled in to a poor economic and personal decision by the town council headed up by Mike Kench. I truly thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for speaking out against this. Words cant express how devastated I was to hear about this but knowing you are all behind me restores my faith in humanity. Thanks you Troy Maxwell for pardon the pun "stepping up to the plate"

I have 3 generations (myself, my kids and my grandkids) who have all played at this baseball diamond and I want my other grandkids to get that opportunity too and I might even be around to see a 4th generation use it too!!

It seems this council is picking up where the previous council left off. Why remove something that is such a big plus for this town? The old saying "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" sure does apply here.

It’s a disgrace. All the years that Arlene has put into this park for the youth of Gananoque. Leave the ball park alone. Put all that you want in your backyard at town hall.
