Want to help keep ballpark open for kids. Why destroy something someone worked hard for. Arlene Cartwright deserves a voice.

Save our ball diamond. Alot of hard work, and fundraising went into making this ball park. And our family and friends had lots of fun playing on this field. We have great memories and hope our grandchildren continue to enjoy this park.

Keep the park. Our town deserves this ball diamond especially with all involved to get it made. Don’t change what’s not broke!

A lot of people worked hard with Arlene Cartwright to get this built for the kids. We have lost enough... it should stay and other options built around it.

Arlene Cartwright, Karl Harries, Lou Jeffries - these people have stepped up for the good of the town and the youth within it. Their work and efforts we’re all passed by previous councils, were built with their sweat and tears, and have been used, bringing joy to our youth for decades. To destroy their work in front of them and their families is a disgrace - especially when they are still in good shape and perfectly useable. Going back to the old ball park is a huge step backwards, and I cannot believe it’s even being considered. Why are we destroying facilities to build someone else’s dream? Build your own dream if you want to ... put the work in like Arlene, Karl, and Lou did! Start from scratch, on a blank slate somewhere, just like these people did. Contribute additions to the town instead of destroying facilities built with someone else’s blood seat and tears. Who ever voted to destroy arlenes work should be ashamed of themselves!

What is this council thinking? I know some are new to the area and we’re not here when all the work was done to create this park. Have some respect for the people that did this.

More public consultations need to be done. There has to be a solution that doesn't remove the ball diamond.
