It should stay. The tennis courts are gone and now the ball diamond. Buy the lot behind McDonalds and expand that way

Lots of properties to use for soccer. No need to destroy the ball park for another sport!

i hope someone in the town reads this: "stop turning Gan into a monotone society, eliminating grounds to create either a profit for the town and sparwling out useless town of gananoque buildings (i.e town hall)"
The younger generations dont want to come back...maybe to retire i guess...if we even make it to that stage

I'm from the Gananaque area originally and this needs to be preserved. There are other areas to revamp without taking valuable tax payers money to re-do something that is sustainable and place those funds where they actually need to be. What about primary and secondary prevention for chronic illnesses as our population ages and we are one of the most isolated areas to access specialized health care services?! What happens when YOU or your elders are not able to receive the care they need at the most critical time? You have a choice to make. Keep our young healthy by keeping the spaces open their parents thought worthy of fighting for. It's simple, and you know it.

It is sad to hear about the political crap that spews forth from the lofty heights of the Gananoque town hall. What is next? The monuments for our fallen and so on? Leave the honour where it belongs. What a sad turn of events.

Unfortunately all too often some people have no concept of the amount of work volunteers have contributed to various projects.
