This is a joke ! So unfair to make them wear grey in all its varying shades ! Stick to black, it's much easier to find in shops. Think us parents should have be consulted as well as the pupils. I think the school needs to address other issues, like supporting pupils who are struggling and dealing with trouble makers ! Seems like like the colour of their kecks is more important that that ! Utter madness

The school has bigger problems it needs to deal with before changing uniform.

What a ridiculous idea to change the colour of the trousers! You want pupils to look smart? Why is it important to change the trousers? Surly it's best for the pupils to be comfortable in school so they'll be happier learning. The trousers don't represent the school but the Polo shirts do. Grey tops and grey pants... ridiculous! It's much harder to buy grey trousers too, at least with black it's easier and pupils already have them.

Awful, awful, awful! Grey would look horrible! Parents and pulils should get their say! Far more pressing issues for the school to be addressing!

I have already got black trousers ready for September - it is hard enough getting black in the size I need, never mind grey. Grey with a grey top will look utterly ridiculous. You can't get smarter than black. If students feel comfortable and confident they will perform well, make them wear infant colours and I'm sure the behaviour will follow. This is a difficult age for them, having to cope with body changes and making them wear a ridiculous uniform is just stupid. The school should be about the students and not one I have spoken to is in favour of this change. Which children were actually consulted?? I am in favour of a smart uniform but this change will just cause resentment, ridicule and cost! The school needs to focus on improving the education for our children's future, not upsetting everyone with stupid changes.

genuinely don't see the point in wearing grey, why can't we just stick to black? You don't see any other school in Flintshire or Chester wearing grey, do you?

It's absolutely ridiculous!! Black looks so much smarter! I can no longer pass down my eldest child's uniform and you're now asking me to spend twice as much to replace two sets of uniform!!oh and BTW my kids haven't had homework for the best part of 2 months!!! Get your bleeding priorities right!!!

We've only just bought 5 new polo shirts to attempt to spread the cost of the annual school uniform purchase. Are the school going to reimburse me that £50 Why wasn't it mentioned at Christmas? If this is to fix the problem of skinny jeans then do just that, send letters to the parents and give the children 2 weeks to re address the issue This has been going on for years with children wearing jeans and trainers, do they think changing the uniform is going to fix the issue
