I think that changing to grey is pointless as it will not make out behaviour any better, it will just make us worse because everyone will be angry. it's a bad decision because people will be wearing different shades of grey and it will just look a mess not smarter.
I do not agree with the change grey will look awful. I would like to know the reason behind this decision ! I say no !

I bought new trousers at the weekend... it took 3 shopping fits to find some that looked smart and were a nice fit!
It's very unfair of the school to expect us to buy more after just a few weeks of use.
I also agree with the children, grey trousers and sweatshirt jumpers will look awful, I don't want them to be comfortable in school not have the added embarrassment about the way they look.
Will the teachers uniform be changing to formal suits also?

I think grey will look awful against the grey tshirts as well as all pupils having different shades of grey. Black is much smarter! I have already bought black for next year too and following on from another comment my daughter hasn't had homework for months either. Changes need to be put in place, definitely, but the uniform isn't what needs to be changed!

My son has just started wearing 2 new pairs of black trousers, in 5 weeks time they wil be useless. More notification would have been useful..??!!

It is hard enough to afford to buy uniforms never mind reducing the choices!
Look at sorting the school out first!

What's the point in changing the uniform to grey trousers when piratically everyone wears black. It would just make everyone happy (or not annoyed) if black was ok

I agree no reason to change and yes lots of family's do have to hand down uniforms as they are made far to expensive in older days parents whose children had to wear uniform had an allowance as they could not afford the costs especially if they had a large family
The Argoed uniform is nice as it is why spoil it who's idea was it ridicules somone thinks of SOMTHING and it happens stupid people

In a world that starts as a small miniscule abyss of hope, came the school Governers. Flaunting their rules and expectations around like we, the school PUPILS, don't matter. If we are taught to speak out mind, why make us not have a voice? They are not the the ones wearing the gray uniform, so why make is wear something that we didn't get to choose!

Wrong decision with no communication to parents. Black skirts and trousers bought ready for September for my daughter. Grey will not suit the rest of the uniform as it is currently, black is the smarter colour choice.
