There may be thoughts that putting the power lines through our canyon would disrupt only a few dozen land owners. However, our family cabin serves as an escape for some 30 plus people to enjoy nature's retreat where we can't enjoy it in the city. This impacts more than just a few people, not to mention the impact to the land.

The transmission lines should be on public property and should not be imposed on private property owners without their consent.

Our family has recently purchased some beautiful property in this canyon. We go up there to get out of the city and enjoy the wilderness and wildlife. If these power lines go in on the private properties in this canyon then we would be leaving the city to go into land and wildlife that has been destroyed by machinery and ugly humming power lines that would ruin the reasons for going up there. As I understand there is another route that wouldn't disturb the private properties and wildlife of this beutiful canyon. Why would anyone consider ruining the land and life's of people and animals when the don't need to?

Please know that (1)I startled a Greater Sage Grouse pair on my Argyle Canyon property last fall; (2) Since we only purchased our property last summer, we have not been properly informed by PacifiCorp or the BLM of this process, and (3) If these power lines are intended to service the general public then they should be ROUTED ACROSS PUBLIC LANDS!

This property is my legacy to my children and grandchildren as a refuge from the congestion, noise, and lack of peace and quiet that is a part of public camping areas. We purchased this beautifu and peaceful property at great expense and improved it with much work on our part. We will not be able to duplicate this land that we love so much. Power lines and the property destrution that accompanies thiem is totally unnecessary on our private land where BLM land is so very, very close. We support Duschesne County with our property taxes. The Commissioners need to support us and protect thier interests in our private property.

There will be several unidentified cultural sites affected by this. My great grandfather homesteaded in the canyon in the 1920s so, we have been out there for many generations and don't want this HIGH VOLTAGE transmission line coming through out back yard!

While you're there, see if they could at least gravel the road to the gate, put a dumpster somewhere, or do something for the taxes w pay them!

It seems as though that we in Argyle allow out side partys to push us around by things like thisand some of the following. damage our roads, tresspas ,steal things, destroy our colverts,and so on. Wake up Duchesne and smell the Roses

This encroachment onto the properties of small, private landowners has much wider ramifications than seem present on the face of the issue. Too often, large organizations use the argument that "the few must sacrifice for the good of the many." Unfortunately, the primary motivation that drives them is more along the lines of "what provides our sharelholders the greatest return." Please encourage the use of federally-owned and controlled properties, even though the process may be more difficult.

There are plenty of other BLM land routes that do not have to affect the private property owners here in the Argyle Canyon area! Please look at alternative routes before proposing routes through this canyon!
