Why do you think people go out there? It's to get away from power lines.

One time I had to run an electrical cable through my neighbors backyard. They were more than happy to let me bury it in their backyard. The straightest line went right through the dog pen. It was a really mean dog. I figured I could save a few dollars by going through the pen, but then realized all the trouble I'd have with that dog. The dog didn't want me in his cage which would take more time controlling the dog than just going around his cage. And what if the dog dug up my cable, chewed it and damaged it. It would cost more in the long run than a few extra dollars up front. I finally put the cable around the pen, everyone is happy. The other day the dog even wagged his tail at me instead of snarling.

Don't let the government take the easy way out and sacrifice our property rights in the meantime. We have more rights than the government to the proper use of our land. as guarantyeed by the constitution. Duchesne Coun ty needs to represent those who are paying the taxes on this land. Not bow to those who would seek to restrict the beauty of this canyon.

I am opposed to the power line through argyle canyon. It is concerning that this route for the power line continues to be considered when there is a viable alternative that would not violate the rights of property owners. Our property has been in the family for will over 30 years.

leave the canyons alone. Place them over public city lands that are already marred. Don't disfigure anymore of our wilderness.
