My husbands family property has been an amazing retreat for us and our kids. My husband loves sharing his memories in these woods with our kids. Having power poles go through this area would be tragic to not only my family but for our future families.

My family has owned property in Argyle Canyon area since the early 1970's. Our parents brought us there to appreciate the wonders of the Wilderness and all of its beauty. This is a very special place to all of us that live, visited and enjoyed the history as well. Putting power towers anywhere near or through this area would be a disaster on a huge personal, emotional and future memories of our children who love the wilderness as much as us. Please do not do this!!!

Please respect our land and do not infringe on our private property by putitng these huge power lines, that don't even serve the area, on or near our property. There are much more suitable public land options available to route these lines if really necessary. Running them through our canyon and our property will ruin what we hold dear.

Our property and roads have always been maintained by private land owners. Power line companies do not have permission to be on our private roads. If this goes through, it will hurt Duchesene County by decreasing your tax money. We have asked for nothing from you, and paid your taxes anyway. If the power lines ruin our property value, it will also ruin your tax revenue.

We purchased our property years ago for the beauty and serenity. We are very disappointed about power lines destroying the beauty, value, and our inheritance we are leaving our family.

Why is this even a consideration when there is a public land option. Protecting private property should be the Commissions first priority as the landowners of Argyle Canyon contribute to the tax base of this county.
