Aimcks Ferry Rd. Is one way out from Timberlake and many homes before that. Traffic is already bad enough in the mornings I can't even imagine the school district trying to even put a school in on the road. I don't think that's a very good decision but I very seriously doubt they will listen to what the people have to say.

I strongly support this petition for safety reasons. Amick's Ferry road is already dangerous with heavy traffic and steep ditches. Additionally Amick's Ferry is a Peninsula and would be a night mare if the residence had to evacuate in case of an emergency. I would not want that on my conscience.

If you are serious about opposing school on Amicks, you need to attend the Monday, June 12th, school board meeting at the CATE Center on Mt. Vernon Church Road. Please make an effort if you care.

I agree with better education for our kids today. God knows they need it. But building a school on amicks ferry is a really bad idea!! We like our country living. If they build a school on amicks ferry. It's only a matter of time for all land to bought up by big builders. There won't be any country side left. It will be nothing but subdivisions from one end to the other.

I have family that reside there and I'm sure they are very concerned as I am about the traffic flow. Change is difficult and should be given the utmost discussion and preparation.
