This will also increase traffic on Long Pine, Walt Rauch to Lake Tide for those cutting thru trying to miss the school traffic, not to mention what will happen to Paul Fulmer, Lester Frick and Frick Outlet roads....not conducive to this heavily traveled road

Increased traffic and delays in emergency services are an already reality, adding new school to this will compound the problem.

This is really a stupid idea. Do we really need a new school? This sounds like the Mayor's idea ... Dumb!

A school on Amicks is not a practical location due to dangerous curves, year round daily, deer/animal collisions, longer commute times and sight/clearance limitations. It is a rural, one lane road.

I am not currently apposed to the school, but first I want to see how the increased traffic will be handle. We do not need another log jam like on Columbia Ave. Created by the high school traffic!

Where is the oversight with these people? This proposal is totally irresponsible and downright stupid. The 2015 census of cars on Amicks Ferry is an outdated figure.

Over crowded road already. This will not improve with addition of a school. There has to be another site that is more applicable.

Traffic congestion and eventual additional development is a big concern. Amicks Ferry Road is not a good option for school expansion plans.

With regard to any new school construction one of the first considerations should be the future impact on traffic. Amicks Ferry is already overloaded. Also, with a new school, there will come, eventually, more development and even more traffic. Find another site better able to accommodate the proposed school.

Establishment of a school on Amicks Ferry Road would be a very poor decision and have a strong negative impact on the immediate area. There are several thousand families that live in a number of residential communities that use the two lane Amicks Ferry Road as the only connector road to work and to shopping! This is also the only connector road for emergency services (Fire, Emergency Medical Services and Law Enforcement) to reach the thousands of residents in those communities!

There is already to much traffic on Amicks Ferry Rd and this would cause more congestion.

We've just had a decrease in speed limit due to those who can't seem to keep their cars on the roadway and now this?! It will take 30 minutes to get into Chapin from Timberlake if this continues.

One way in and one way out off of Amicks Ferry

This is not a well-thought project. Traffic will be horrible for local residents.

There is enough congestion on Amicksferry already not only that it will be located near a bend in the road which is a big hazard for busses and cars entering the road way. For those who are inconvenienced by driving or are to lazy to drive to the elementary school need to move closers.
