Living here 18 years have watched the area grow and Amicks Ferry become more congested. Was terrible when road repairs done. They are already building a new development on Long Pines. I am very concerned about EMS and Fire getting through to Timberlake. There is no other way in or out. Don't the citizens have a say in this matter? I see the problems River Bluff school caused on Corley Mill Road and the need for more lanes and traffic lights. Please reconsider building this school elsewhere. Amicks Ferry Road is not conducive to this construction and traffic.

Amicks Ferry already has way too much traffic as it is! A school would make it a nightmare. Too dangerous!

Infrastructure FIRST...then a school. Better yet, how about a managed growth master plan where residents have input into its creation.

This school should not be located on Amick's Ferry Road. The road is the only way in or out of Chapin for the residents that live in the Timberlake neighborhoods.

As taxpayers of Lexington Richland School District 5, we should have been consulted about the building of another school. Also, the traffic on Amicks Ferry is already over its maximum.

We moved to the Crystal Pines Subdivision (inside Timberlake) in August, 2016. Part of the appeal of moving here was the peaceful country road (Amick's Ferry Rd) leading to our subdivision. A school along this road will destroy that and lead to traffic issues.

The traffic flow on Amicks Ferry will not support the additional traffic that would occur wiith an Elementary school. It only has one road in and out and for those of us that live at the furthest point on Amicks ferry there are no alternative routes to bypass a school. Amicks Ferry is only a two lane road with no turn lanes that would allow people to bypass the influx of traffic. Lastly it would require a speed limit change adding additional travel for everyone in a road that already chas bottleneck issues.

Coming out of Lakemont drive, is dengerous now additional traffic will make it worse find a new site , ditches all over , no shoulder , who the hell planned all this debocial.

My commute to work is already 40 minutes. This kind of increased traffic and congestion would cause terrible delays. I may be forced to move out of the area.

Dangerous and costly location for a school. Amicks Ferry Road would need to be widened to handle the additional traffic and subdivisions that will pop up around a new school.

A new school might be feasible, but only after widening Amicks Ferry Road to accommodate the traffic. Considering the terrible job that was done by the DOT in just repaving Amicks Ferry, I am not sure this could be done to meet the public's satisfaction.

No to the new elementary school on Amicks Ferry. There is not any room to pass or no shoulder on the road. Both should have been thought about when they were fixing Amicks Ferry Rd.
