It is unconscionable that any public board goes this far without gathering the appropriate confirmed facts upon which to proceed to spend taxpayers hard earned dollars. Where the need is questionable the Board should heed the wishes of its constituents until it can demonstrate the need, safety and minimal disruption to the community.

I do not live in Chapin any longer but until something is done about subdivisions before no approved and the roads. This does NOT need to take place. Amicks Ferry Rd is not the place for a school. Winding road.

When are the next elections where school board candidates hound me at the polls? Dear Candidates for Lex/Rich 5 School Board. We residents of Amicks Ferry do not want this school and it doesn't matter why.

Our family has had property on the lake since 1960 and this development is a blight on the lake community. There seems to be no concern for the people or the families that live there now.

There is no logical reason why that school should be put on Amicks Ferry. Anyone that has done an aerial view of that property can see that there is no way to divert the traffic. Nothing about this makes sense.

There are very few road connections on Amick's Ferry Rd. Only one paved road connecting it to an alternate outlet. It is a peninsula road; this leaves a bottle neck off the peninsula. The bottle neck is where the school site would be. Really? Not to mention, is the need for an elementary school even a real need?!
