The volume of support for these programs has caught the attention of several local news outlets who are now reviewing our case. I am finalizing a formal briefing for the state board to ensure this momentum translates into a tangible policy discussion.

Aside from the numerous studies documenting the great advantages of continuing educaiton for the senior population, how about the years of taxes we have paid into the system and now upon retirement are unable to have access to adult ed programs to pursue our dreams (in non degree school programs)? Once again, education, the arts, seniors etc will take a back seat.
these classes are the only way some people can learn english or finish high school. please keep them open!
CUTTING EDUCATION IS NEVER THE ANSWER. STOP TARGETING THE PROGRAMS THAT ACTUALLY HELP PEOPLE GET BACK ON THEIR FEET
Ridiculous. We pay enough in taxes already. Leave the adult classes alone we need these skills for the job market.
my daughter got her ged through this program and it changed our lives. dont take this away from people who are trying to work hard.
