This gym is so important for this community to have access to health and wellness near their jobs and shopping centers. If the goal is to put in a sports therapy center, you should rent out the space to do that while still having public access available.

As someone who has recovered from a concussion, I appreciate that the gym is quieter and smaller than other gyms as well as very close.

Please keep this gym open, I am a new mom who has found a place of comfort and peace in this gym throughout the chaos and all the ups and downs of postpartum life. My son also has swimming classes at this facility so it means a great deal for me. The staff members are so kind, the classes are great and the facility is always clean something that benefits us members of this community. Please reconsider your decision to close and help us keep something that is so special to us

Active is unique and closing it leaves a large gap in the community to be proactive about our wellness. In times where making intelligent decisions regarding healthcare is difficult this closing does not make it easier for people.

This is a loss to the over 65 group who have joined via Providence Medicare Advantage using Optum One Pass to have coverage and phenomenal support from the coaches and trainers at Active to promote our wellness and fitness objectives— there is no options for group classes at another close by gym that accepts Optum One Pass

I have Providence Medicare Advantage Plan.
St. Vincent ER and staff saved my life 3 years ago when I had a STEMI heart event. Swimming is my thing. I have been driving 45 minutes 3 times a week since 2022 to go to the Active saline outdoor pool at the Reeds Crossing It is why I am such good shape. If Providence is really into preventative health, I urge you to keep that pool open to serious swimmers. It is the by far best swimming facility in NW Oregon. Winter swimming like nowhere else! Please find a way to let us swimmers stay fit and healthy!

As a Providence physician and longtime Hillsboro practitioner I am deeply concerned about the closure of Active Wellness. This facility is central to our community's wellness and provides a unique space to interact with my patients and for the local community to call home. The holistic approach is key for health and well being, and should be preserved.
