I am not a member of this gym, but I do work in the building. I am absolutely appalled that Providence is doing this to the community of Reed's Crossing for the sake of money. This feels like corporate greed and no amount of "this is for the greater good" will convince me otherwise.

This wellness center restored my health, now I am able to walk, function at home and I have lost weight, brought my blood pressure down and happy every day.

We have enjoyed the closeness of fellow members and the friendliness of the staff. We feel comfortable there and want to remain! We have been members for 2 years!

Our community was built around this wellness center. With the Town Center just now opening and Reed's Crossing still under construction, it feels like killing a young foal before it has a chance to grow. We feel betrayed by Providence, which is not truly looking after our wellbeing. Without exaggeration, this rash action (30 days' notice!) has broken thousands of hearts - ruining so many peoples' plans for connection and self-care.

This is a huge advantage for our community. Having a place to come to that supports physical and mental well being. It is so important to seniors longevity and wellness, I am shocked this decision was made. We are all devastated to be losing our beloved Active Fitness Center.

The Active Wellness Center is a major benefit for those of us who live at the Ackerly at Reed's Crossing, as well as those who reside within the Reed's Crossing/South Hillsboro community.

Please do not take out gym. My partner and I were excited about it since before it was built and have been members since the soft launch. We have been participating in classes multiple times a week and have made progress towards our health and fitness goals. We are saddened that our favorite gym is closing. We hope that you find more value opening a sports health center at a different location.
