Please consider many of us made investments in this neighborhood due to the proximity of this wellness center. We need to at minimum have a say it what it becomes and who will have access to it.

We would love to see the pool facilities at the least stay available to our community.

I just recently started a fitness program there and was looking forward to seeing an improvement in my health. I am very devastated by this closure.

My PT is at Reeds Crossing. I use this gym as part of my PT regimen.
I, as many PT clients, are temporarily or permanently disabled. Some need medical transport in order come to Reeds Crossing PT and OT. Closing this gym to us and asking us and the skilled trainers to go elsewhere is unconscionable. AND, rumor has it that you are uprooting an entire PT department from the east side to merge with Reeds Crossing and undermine the finest PT/OT department I have ever experienced. You are rupturing relationships that take years to establish changing the entire dynamic of this facility. This will cause many to rethink their commitment to Providence. Figure out another way to make payroll. This is years of upper management incompetence with absolutely no comprehension of how your actions affect the end users of your decisions.

They give the reason as not wanting to spend money on health clubs. Then why is the Lake Oswego remaining open?

It would be a shame to waste such a wonderful facility and clearly the community benefits from having it here.

I feel a deep sense of loss with this closure. The offer of Hawthorne Farms is an additional 24 minutes round trip from my home. I frequent the gym 2 to 3 times a week, and was so thrilled when we finally got a quality gym in our neighborhood. There is nothing in the Aloha area that compares. Please, for the health of our community, reconsider this decision. At the very least, offer the pools to members at a reduced rate.
