We were so excited to find a gym with such high cleanliness standards and also a lower chlorine level for the pools as well as another place for my mom to use NuStep machines, which are one of the very best things for her currently. And the fact that Active Wellness was partnered with United Healthcare for her Renew Active program was a huge blessing. I hope that Providence will reconsider!

I love this place. Our community needs it. I see people of all ages, all sizes and athletic ability use this space. Our older community needs an outlet to exercise to keep them from becoming hospitalized. Our younger generation needs to see healthy habits. I’m really saddened by this decision.

This place is such an important community hub especially for Ackerly residents. Providence cannot call themselves a leader in the community if they will not protect community wellness.

There must be a document stating the plan for this community with a wellness center as a foundational part. Would Metro have it? The City of Hillsboro? As the Reed’s Crossing development went through the visioning, purchase, zoning, and approval processes, there must have been agreements along the way. Right?

This gym helped me drop 60lbs before my wedding. It’s the only gym I feel comfortable and accepted at. Not using the beautiful pool would be a waste!

This center changed my spouse's lifestyle and got him so excited to exercise. 4 more family members were about to sign up. Devastated is an understatement.
