signing on behalf of my mother a customer who is not always able to travel elsewhere. also on behalf of the businesses who, with the additional closure of HSBC, will have nowhere to deposit their takings without the risk associated with carrying cash around. Wath is becoming desolate with all the closures.

There has been a yorkshire bank in Wath for more than sixty years, I think it's a real kick in the teeth from the bank that cares about here

Lets keep these banks open. People around here are not all capable of travelling to another town to use banks and not everyone has access to laptops mobiles etc. Some people don't trust online or telephone banking so need a handy place to use their money

Yorkshire Bank in Wath is vital for our elderly citizens , vulnerable people , local business and the general population . It's always busy and a valuable service . The post offices are being slashed. How do the poorest and most needy access financial help if this branch closes. Enter into a joint premise with the HSBC and keep our local bank LOCAL .

How are the older people of wath going to cope without a local branch. Not everyone likes to bank on line especially with so much fraud about. I Myself like to be able to interact with a person ,not a machine.

The closure of Yorkshire bank will cause real difficulties for the people of Wath-upon-Dearne. We have many older people who are unable to access internet banking and also due to disabilities are unable to travel any real distance. The closure of this bank takes away their independence. My family frequently uses this bank. It is a central part of Wath!

I use both branches, mainly the HSBC and it will mean having to travel to either Rotherham or Barnsley to get to a branch....absolutely disgusted!

A poorly considered decision based on false information and without any local consultation.

The proposed closure of the Yorkshire Bank and the HSBC bank is a disgrace. We need the banks in Wath it brings trade into the village and a lot of people do not use on line banking so what are they going to do?Small businesses also use the banks so they are going to have to travel further afield .We lost the TSB bank,Nat West Halifax and now this it is total madness. What will happen to the empty premises if it goes ahead?

The banks were, and still are, supported by the taxpayer after causing untold misery to many. Communities now deserve support from the banks

How are the elderly going to manage that don't do internet banking or have a computer

Banked here for more than 40 years. Couldn't get better counter staff anywhere else. What will happen to the faithful staff some of whom have served us all these years?
