Apart from the value of it as a sport club and the skills and enjoyment it provides consider the much added value of it for children, teenagers, young people and the older generation for keeping agile and fit in these days when we see and hear about obesity and the need to keep a healthy body. By closing this club you are taking this source of fitness away from those in that community. KEEP IT OPEN.

A great facility for Whitchurch and other areas of Cardiff. Long may it continue. A far better option than another infill housing development.

All community sports facilities should be protected! My grand daughter would be devastated if this top class facility was lost.

Too many sporting facilities in this country have been destroyed. The obesity epidemic is of concern to parents, grandparents and families. This tennis club is a mecca for youngsters to exercise and be off the streets. Money should be ploughed in by the council to expand and draw more youngsters in.

Excellent club and have so many memories playing tournaments and club matches against Whitchurch LTC over many years.

We need to ensure we keep community recreation spaces open and support local clubs like this. We know childhood obesity is rising, having cost effective, local facilities like this are paramount to ensuring healthy communities.
