During the 6+ years that I saw site coordinator for our 21-branch library, Ask a Librarian was a high-volume service we were able to provide to our whole county and beyond.

I've seen people using it and I know it is a good tool for allowing patrons to ask questions from just about anywhere. It should certainly be left in place.

Ask a Librarian is a valuable resource for my school-aged child seeking real answers and help with his schoolwork. Ask points children in the right direction while helping to incorporate critical thinking skills. Thank you.

Please save Ask a Librarian as it provides a vital source of reference support for users in need. Since most people now do much of their work online, they need a support system online that can assist them with any of their reference needs.

As a recent graduate of a Florida University, I cannot tell you how many times I have utilized the Ask a Librarian service for my studies. The assistance I was provided was invaluable and cutting this service will seriously hurt today's students.

This service is imperative for distance learners. How will they ask questions around the clock and around the world?

This is a fantastic service: prompt, polite, and thorough. If anything, more funding ad an awareness campaign should be provided.
