Ask a Librarian is a service that is available for many people who are unable to actually go to a library. It is not just a convenience but a necessity for them. It would be a grave diservice to those many Americans who enjoy and benefit from Ask a Librarian. Perhaps the State of Florida needs to look at its' priorities and think about serving the reesidents of Florida.

We must continue to work to prevent the "dumbing down" of American citizens. One way to do that is to support programs ensuring that people have access to accurate, reliable and current information 24/7 instead of just the wild Internet.
