We finally get a decent restaurant in this corrupt God forsaken city and now you want to take that from us makes no since. But, if it was a liquor store there would be no problem and that's sad, why not make Gary great again instead of leaving it a ghost town.

Gary need Nations and many more restaurants and resources. Homes with no resources doesn’t make sense. Rebuild Gary! John has started the process now continue by not taking a step backwards

Please we are so close to becoming a viable city there are plenty of other places. This is the start of new growth for a city that is need of anything new. This would be the equivalent " to turning out the last light in Gary"

This is exactly the kind of business downtown Gary needs. Why isn’t the City of Gary doing everything it can to to help John Allen. Be an enabling force for redevelopment not a block. The GHA has plenty of work to do and doesn’t need his building to do it.

I am a resident of the city of Gary, we need this in our community, there are plenty of abandon buildings the city can start turning down other places!! Leave this one alone

This restaurant should not be torn down. Tearing down this restaurant tears down the trust and hope of each and every Gary citizen in their city. Why would any new business want to open in a place that would do such a thing? Is HUDS plan or agenda to deter new business in the city of Gary, so we can remain a food dessert and have to continue to go outside of the city to dine on healthy meals?
