What is the estimate of cyclists who would use this bike trail on 35th? It seems dangerous and unnecessary to further restrict cars on this street, not to mention lost access to business and residences. There are so many better uses for the money.

35th Ave NE is already a very busy arterial and very good bike arterials already exist nearby (and I have used them!). Please do not add bike lanes to 35th Ave NE.

I strongly agree with recommended changes for safty reasons. It is already a pretty congested area and traffic on 35th is awful already during rush hours in the mornings and the evenings. Please listen to our voice!

PLEASE do not add more bike lanes to 35NE. There I’m already so much auto traffic, it’s stupid to add more dangerous bike paths. Why would a biker want to ride on a street w/ so much auto pollution. A side street make much more sense for everyone. I am a biker but must add that so many of us are not responsible, going throu red lights, cutting in front of other cars, weaving in & out of traffic.

I can't believe this is a good mix of car and bicycle traffic.

There is already a bike lane on 39th. This is a huge waste of money as well as being a terrible burden on the community around 35th and all of the businesses who are already short on parking.

It will be disastrous if the current, ill-conceived plan goes through. Just the effect on the library alone is enough to rule it out. The Northeast branch is the most used library in the city after the central branch downtown . Don’t these transportation “planners” talk to the rest of the city departments?

It is totally unnecessary to remove the parking on the west side of 35th to convenience a few bikers. The bikers can use 39th. Bike lanes should not takes up valuable arterial space.

Hope the Seattle Council and Durkan can stop this!

STOP wasting money and messing up the traffic!! We’ve already given up countless 10’s of thousands of dollars in this nonsense! There isn’t enough bike traffic to justify this waste of tax payer/property tax dollars! Let’s fix the streets we do have. Perhaps it’s time to re-evaluate the people we have on the council.

I am FOR improved pedestrian safety-more & safer crosswalks, upgraded sidewalks. I am FOR keeping our parking for area businesses. I am FOR keeping our biking on side streets. I am AGAINST bike lanes on 35th Avenue NE. I am AGAINST pushing traffic and parking into our neighborhood streets. Please listen to the citizens of Wedgwood! Spend our money wisely!

Bad idea, not needed. Poor merchants trying to attract business. Incidentally, I bike!

Every car, heading North or South, will be impeded if he gets behind a bus, mail truck or UPS truck making a stop. Now, pictue the scene if a moving van needs to move the belongings into or out of one of the residences or businesses along 356th.

More bike lanes are not needed. I live on 39th Ave NE, the bicycle greenway, and it is not nearly at capacity with bike traffic. THIS WILL HURT SMALL BUSINESSES! Show some concern for how hard it is to keep your doors open in this city when you are a small business.
