SAVE 35th AVE NE

Bikes can utilize existing corridor on 39th and stay off 35th. There are way to many cars utilizing this road daily and bike lanes would not only take out existing parking on both sides of street, it would be a mile backup mess daily. Fix the narrow section further south on 35th buy eliminating parking on one side of street, where it's residences not business's. Place more flashing light crosswalks and start enforcing the speed limit.

Common sense is not part of the City's plan. The City has systematically eliminated parking throughout Seattle and King county over many years. 35th is just happens one of the most glaring examples. I am against any proposal that impends traffic flow and street parking. My small business service company depends on traffic flow and street parking.

Please help save our neighborhood. We do not need less parking and more bike lanes.

The only thing I would support on this project is a left turn light on 35th at 75th.

Bicyclists should be routed to the bicycle greenway (38th & 39th). And the parking for businesses and others would be negatively impacted by these changes. These changes will cause more harm than improve a situation. Therefore a complete waste of money and resources!!

We don’t need to mess up parking for a large amount of people so a few bikers can ride on a main road. They can ride a block any direction and it’s safer and causes less traffic.

This unnecessary and a waste of public funds.

This will have a negative impact to residents and businesses along 35th Ave NE for a small gain to a select group of Bicycle riders. SDOT needs to look at alternate routes that are less congested than this neighbor. The BMP also addresses Safety as one of it's goals. So if there is a traffic accident, how are Fire and Police supposed to respond to a house fire or domestic disturbance if they can't get through?

This plan is a awful idea. The elderly need bus stops.

I believe this SDOT plan to remove parking on the west side of 35th Ave.NE & add bicycle lanes on both sides will decrease pedestrian safety and hurt businesses and increase danger to bicyclists.

Absolutely crazy! Its a Bus line also besides all the traffic! This city is ruined - thanks voters. You know who you are....Morons.

Driving on 35th Ave NE is already dangerous and you want to narrow the street? Are you nuts? Keep it the way it is. I will not vote for any Council person that supports this stupid idea.

I've lived in Wedgwood for 50+years. please do not make he changes that are proposed.

I completely agree that this plan will have a devastating effect on neighborhood safety, traffic, and convenience. My family includes bike commuters and we do NOT support this - as has been clearly laid out, there are already good bike options available, and it would be criminal to inconvenience SO MANY PEOPLE for the sake of a tiny percentage of people WHO ALREADY HAVE GOOD OPTIONS. City Council, please do the right thing!

To make these changes is insane.

This not notion is ridiculous, expensive and most of all dangerous! I vote and won't be voting for the city officials behind this if it proceeds.

Please think about the 99% that use cars, not the 1% that use bikes.

Please do not eliminate the parking lanes for bike lanes. It will make an already congested parking area (in the neighborhoods) even more challenging.
