Destroying local business viability will cause more driving. Why fight the traffic to a neighborhood business only to fight for a parking space? We need to promote local, not send business to U Village. This is so skewed to 1% year round bikers. (of which I am on by the way).

35th will not be safe for bikers, with or without bike lanes. You are pushing car traffic back into the residential neighborhoods which is more dangerous for all

I am a bike rider. I use the EXISTING route through the neighborhood east of 35th up to 85th. Please DON'T do what was done to Roosevelt! Keep bikes OFF arterial streets. [No parking on one side of 35th from 45th to 65th would be helpful, though (without bike lane).]

No bike lanes are needed on 35th Ave NE!! A designated bike lane is available on 38/39th and safer for biking. Left-turn lanes and lights would be best project at intersections.

Please don't put in bike lanes on 35th Ave NE. Consider alternate side street options that don't negatively impact small businesses and traffic.

This plan will hurt local businesses and families who can't run errands and transport their children on bikes. It will create gridlock for the families who utilize this vital street. It would be a tremendous waste of tax payer money to create redundant bike lanes on a busy arteriole that is critical for small neighborhood businesses.

Adding a bike lane will add potential injuries or fatalities because the road it tight as is and speeding cars won't slow down just because there is a bike lane and adding more traffic and congestion to this roadway is not a great solution without widening the road.

Do not out bike lanes in 35th. They are already on 39th. The way it is planned all the businesses would suffer—and the city gets revenue from them.

Taking away parking and lane space for the three lone bikers in Wedgwood makes no sense. Majority of the bikers I interact with don’t obey the rules of the road. They run red lights, weave through traffic, don’t wear helmets, and turn without signaling. How is any of that safe or ok?

No more bike lanes. Don’t eliminate parking on the west side of 35th. It will hurt the neighbor businesses as well as family homes. Let alone resale value.

Use side streets for bikes.
These streets are quieter.
Add more lighted crosswalks on 35th.

Who thought of this plan? Adding a true bike lane for ONLY bikes is comical. Eliminating the parking on one side of 35th to improve bicycle safety is a reasonable compromise. Every time a bus stops it will stop vehicular traffic...really?

Why was all the money spent for a similar bike lake along 38/39th. The money now should be put into lighted crosswalks and other safety improvement instead of another bike lane now on 35th.
