No more bike lanes. Seattle has steep hills and steady rain for 9 months out of the year. While appreciating the green potential of cycling v gas powersed engines, Seattle will never see a dramatic shift to cycling due to these irrefutable facts. Need evidence: The bike lanes we’ve already created are not being used. No more bike lanes. It only causes congestion, traffic and adds risks to pedestrians who face increased rate of collision with moving vehicles.

35th is not a safe street as it is and condensing all traffic including bikes is a really bad idea.

Bikes will be safer on side streets rather than on 35th. Taking road space on 35th for dedicated bike lanes is going to push everything into the side streets and make those less safe for walking. While I support safe biking options, the way to do it is to have bikes using the alleys and side streets in the area, not the main arterial. The way many bikers ride, it will cause much more conflict with drivers to have them have a lane on the main road. I do not understand the logic of this plan and ask that it be reconsidered to send bicyclists riding on side streets, not on the main road. Thank you.

I think we shouldn't have bike lanes in the city at all. May be the city should consider building an elevated bridge way for bikers.

Ridiculous. Dangerous. A great way to destroy one of the few remaining neighborhood/local small business districts in Seattle. If it becomes too hard to shop or dine, patrons will go elsewhere. Find a real solution.

39th Street greenway safer for bikes. Bike lanes on arterials are less safe. Current bike lanes underutilized. As a disabled person I need to park on 35th from time to time
