We need two lanes for traffic!!! Bike lanes can be improved on side streets!

This is a ridiculous plan! The streets are already too narrow!! This will hurt local businesses and change the flavor of this wonderful neighborhood!!!

This will hurt local businesses in the neighborhood. Bike riders can use another, less busy street.

I oppose bike lane on 35th Ave NE. I am not opposed to a bike lane on a less busy street, 36th Ave NE

In other parts of the city I have seen a number of cases where cars are backed up, engines idling, because what used to be a smooth flow of traffic is now backed up due to bicycle lanes that are empty. That can't be good for the environment. I also agree that this is going to be very dangerous for bicyclists. Someone is going to get hurt or killed.

35th Ave. is a critical neighborhood arterial with thousands of vehicles per day plus many buses and emergency vehicles traveling this street daily. There are many business, Drs. and Dental offices, The Autabaun Society, Library and many small business that will be affected by this "bike lane" and removing paking from this street. Please put the bike lanes on side streets as has been done on 39th already. Use common sense as bikers never use 35th Ave. and do not want to use it. Thanks you.

There's a bike lane on 39th....... Very few cars driving on this street.......why would bicyclist even want bike lanes on 35th with all the traffic?

There is already a bike lane on 39th. A nice quiet street. There is no need for one on 35th where it will impact business and be dangerous.

Putting cyclists on this (already) busy street is simply NOT safe for cyclists or for drivers of vehicles! I would love to hear their philosophy about using 35th. By the way, how many cyclists would actually use it? Do 2 cyclists trump 13,000 vehicles?

use side streets for bike lanes. Safer, and better for local business.

As a cyclist, this makes no sense. Spending our money uselessly seems to be an every day occurrence for Seattle City Council these days.

Im a cyclist. I commute downtown. I would never ride on 35th. This is a waste of money.

Jenny Durken: STOP this ridiculous plan that Rob Johnson is pushing while lying about his intentions. I was at the NEDC meeting. This is malfeasance at its best
