35th is a Wonderful Street! Please leave it the way it is! Don't bring more congestion to one of our Wonderful neighborhood through streets that works really well right now. Thank you!

I an an avid cyclist, as our my kids, and yet I still do not believe this is an improvement to an already congested roadway.

Please listen to the people! The proposed bike lanes on 35th are not meeting the vast majority of the needs or want of the people in this area.

I've lived 2 blocks from 35th (near Nathan Hale HS) for 10 years and I've seen about 12 bikers TOTAL! This is absolutely ridiculous! These bike lanes just make traffic worse and take away parking for people who live here. I also believe that studies have shown that bike lanes have actually proven to be more dangerous for the bikers. Traffic is getting worse in this city every day partly because they're taking away car lanes to put in bike lanes for very few bikers.

Grew up in the area and still visit my mother who is 100 and lives on 33rd Ave. Traffic is already badly congested and dangerous. Parking is difficult on 35th and nearly impossible on connecting side streets. We don't know how emergency vehicles can get through what will be even more side street parking as a result of this plan. This seems to be poorly planned without regard to what is really important. This is already a dangerous road with speeders and red lights being run. Pay attention to those who actually know the situation.

Keep cyclists safe by not mixing them with arterial traffic and save the businesses and jobs.

Remember in the old days when we biked on side streets and managed to arrive at our destinations?? Well, it'll still work. Enough with the bike lane business. Too much $$$, to much disregard for local businesses, etc. Put that money elsewhere!!!!!

I’m all for it. Live in the neighborhood and believe it will have a negative financial impact on our local businesses, hugely impact parking for customers and those living within 3 blocks of 35th, and an unnecessary expenditure for the city. Spend the money elsewhere on something more important- fixing potholes maybe?

Please do NOT further narrow 35th ave NE by adding bike lanes!! (That was the whole point of the designated lanes just east of that on 38th/39th). This will be a parking disaster and CLOG the whole Wegewood area with traffic. It is the only real business street in our neighborhood and the most widely used by cars. I have lived on 40th Ave NE and now closer to Sand point way for over 23 years. I KNOW this area.

I’ve lived here my entire life and frequent the businesses on 35th. This will make it impossible to park! Please reconsider and keep the parking on 35th.

Losing parking will be hard on businesses, churches and a terrible nuisance for the library. Bikes should be on the nearby side streets.

I think changes to 35th Avenue NE are misguided. I’m concerned that the city officials and elected representatives have not taken into account all of the comments of the people who actually live in the neighborhoods affected.
